Effect of Remdesivir on COVID-19 PCR Positivity and Cycle Threshold in Kidney Transplant Recipients

Information regarding Coronavirus disease 2019 in the transplant population is lacking. Recently it has been suggested that cycle threshold values obtained on polymerase chain reaction tests may serve as a marker of severity with lower (i.e., higher viral load) being associated mortality. This study was done to assess impact remdesivir use time negative COVID-19 PCR well degree change between two Ct’s based treatment. A total 30 kidney patients new diagnosis were assessed.
